Sachiko Hirano, 28, was with Pan Am since February 1970. She was born 24 November 1945 in Gumma, Japan, attended high school there and later graduated from Japanese Interpreter Training School. She is survived by her parents, Yoshio and Mineka Hirano, and two sisters, all of Tokyo. Norman Williams mentions her in his 1977 book about the disaster.
